Acting for the Improvisor

Add depth and reality to your improvised characters and relationships with traditional acting skills! This workshop will focus on acting exercises traditionally used in scripted theatre to take your improv to the next level. Even the silliest, wildest scenes benefit from the connection and truth within your character!

Instructor

Brandon Boring has been performing and directing theatre in Central Ohio for over a decade now. He began studying improv in 2018 and hasn’t looked back since. He is a member of TBD the Improvised Musical and FFN Improv.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Student Level Requirements: Some improv experience helpful as this workshop is focused on acting technique to enhance improv. Intermediate to advanced improv experience.
• If the course is cancelled, tuition will be refunded.
• Age requirement: 19-119 welcome!
• PARKING: Paid Street Parking
