American Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

ARC PALS blended class—complete the online portion first, then learn essential pediatric resuscitation and emergency skills in person.

This American Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is designed for healthcare providers who manage or respond to pediatric cardiopulmonary emergencies. Through a combination of self-paced online learning and an instructor-led skills session, participants build the advanced assessment and resuscitation skills needed to care for infants and children in critical situations.

This is a blended learning course.

All participants must complete the required online portion before attending the in-person skills session. Access instructions for the online training will be provided after registration.

During the in-person session, participants will practice and demonstrate:

• High-quality pediatric CPR
• Airway management and respiratory support
• Recognition and treatment of shock and respiratory failure
• Pediatric rhythms and electrical therapy
• Team dynamics and effective communication during resuscitation
• Integrated pediatric case scenarios

Upon successful completion of both components, learners will receive an American Red Cross PALS certification, valid for 2 years.
