Misha Fair and the Heights

Misha Fair is a rising voice in Americana, fusing alt-country, folk, gospel, bluegrass, and rock into a sound that’s both deeply rooted and unmistakably her own. With powerhouse vocals and emotionally resonant songwriting, she delivers a fresh take on Southern storytelling—bold, soulful, and grounded in truth.

Low Groves

With folksy roots, enveloped by droning soundscapes, Low Groves tiptoes the lines of traditional folk and indie rock while exploring themes of longing and loss.

The project was formed out of necessity. After losing his last living grandparent and being laid off from his day job with the Chicago White Sox in 2020, he retreated to his vacant grandparents’ house in Chicago to gather belongings and determine his next move. He emerged with the 10 songs that would comprise his debut album: Drifter.

After a break from music, he arrived in Charlotte, NC where he would play these songs around the local music scene and form a live band full of talented local musicians.

2023 was a busy year for him as he's opened for Adam Melchor during his Here Goes Nothing! Tour, performed at Charlotte SHOUT! Festival, and released his first EP ("Lay the Line") since his debut album

Sluice

Sluice is the recording project of Durham based musician/engineer Justin Morris (Fust, Weirs, Aunt Sis). Radial Gate, the second release as Sluice, features a wide collection of local talent including Avery Sullivan (Fust, Indigo De Souza), Oliver Child-Lanning (Fust, Weirs), Luke Norton (HC McEntire), Frank Meadows (Fust, Tomberlin, Bellows) and Natalie King (Toss) to name a few. Radial Gate continues the Sluice theme of nature’s intersection with industry, and lyrically explores the ideas of isolation and depression giving way to community and personal growth. “Could you pass me a beer, oh no it fell in the river. Hey man that’s all right, goodnight.”
