Divine Intimacy with Jesus: "Be Anxious About Nothing"

As the pressures of the world cave in on us, a Divine intimacy with Christ Jesus will grant us the peace we need to rise above the chaos.

Living under the suppressing Roman rule during the time of our Lord was tramatic. The religious, political and economic stronghold over the Jewish people was cause for a life of daily tension and uncertainty.

When we look at our current state of life, very little has changed. There are still religious, poltical and economic pressures upon Catholic men in this day and age.

But Christ's words to his disciples and to us today were filled with hope: "Have no anxiety about anthing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." ~ Philippians 4: 6-7
