About the artists:

Gene Burton-Pearce is a regular on the folk session scene in Birmingham. His unique voice and guitar picking style will captivate you, along with his ability to unearth real gems from the folk tradition.

David Fisher is a travelling busker, with plenty of self-written songs about life on the road in addition to a wide array of traditional material. ‘David’s voice is strong with an attractive, raw power… I’m not the first reviewer to detect hints of the styles of Gordon Lightfoot and Richard Thompson’ - Unicorn Magazine

Elinor Peregrin has been performing on the Birmingham folk scene for well over a decade, both as a solo artist and as part of The Mistakings, delighting audiences with her rich and beautiful voice. 'More than just merely exceptional' - Narrowboat Sessions

Kings Heathens, formed of David Fisher and Evan C Ritchie, will perform a few songs to end the evening as a taster for their upcoming album launch at the same venue (link below). This venue is a shop in the daytime and we will be turning it into a cozy venue and the majority of seating is blankets and cushions on the floor. You're welcome to bring your own cushions and blanket. There is no standing room. We recognise not everyone will be comfortable sitting on the floor and if you require a seat, please message us when you buy a ticket and we will accommodate you.
