HBCU Showcase Presented by Nike/The Mayor's Cup Relays - Saturday

Watch athletes from the country's top historically black colleges and universities compete at The Armory.

The Armory Foundation is proud to announce that the 2026 HBCU Showcase Presented by Nike will return for a fourth year. This event is scheduled to take place at the Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory on Saturday, January 17th 2026.

The HBCU Showcase presented by Nike highlights track and field programs from historically Black colleges and universities across the country. A college admissions fair will also be held during the meet, engaging hundreds of New York City high school students as they prepare for their future education. Many of these students attending citywide public, parochial, charter or private schools will participate in track races as part of The Mayor’s Cup Relays. Since 2023, the number of high school participants has increased from 50 to over 300.
