Karen y Los Remedios return to Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 25th for a special one night gathering at Zizou launching the new series ZZK Sessions Vol. 1.
Conceived as an intimate encounter rather than a stage performance, the evening invites guests into the world of Karen y Los Remedios through shared listening, conversation and atmosphere. A cultural happening designed to create proximity between artist and audience in a relaxed, late night setting.
The gathering draws from Silencio, the band’s acclaimed debut album, and Silencio Remixes, a companion release featuring reinterpretations by international producers, while also marking an important moment for the project as Karen y Los Remedios announce that a new album is coming later this year.
Known for their distinctive blend of cumbia, downtempo, trip hop and electronic experimentation, Karen y Los Remedios continue to explore formats beyond traditional live shows.
Led by multidisciplinary artist and vocalist Ana Karen Barajas, alongside producer Jonathan Muriel (Jiony) and guitarist Guillermo Berbeyer (Z.A.M.P.A.), Karen y Los Remedios have established a singular presence within contemporary Latin electronic music, merging emotional depth with rhythm driven experimentation.
The project recently expanded its international visibility with a notable sync for Patrón, further positioning Karen y Los Remedios at the intersection of music, visual culture and brand collaborations.
The event is presented by ZZK Records and Electrochica, with wines curated by Mas Vino Please.
