Local Matters: Westhampton Beach

This event will focus on Westhampton Beach and the issues most important to the residents.

The final in a series of “Local Matters" Express Sessions panel discussions will focus on Westhampton Beach Village and the issues that are important to its residents. They will help set the agenda for the lunchtime roundtable conversation. Will it be the sewer district? Paid parking in the business district? The state-funded waterfront protection program? Overdevelopment in the residential areas surrounding Main Street?The business community's struggles and successes? A new nightlife that has developed downtown and its impact on the village?

The event will feature a panel of Westhampton Beach Village officials, including Mayor Ralph Urban,as well as community and business leaders. As with every Express Sessions event, those in attendance will have a chance to ask questions and offer comments on the subjects at hand.
