Join us on Thursday, October 23, 2025 for an inspiring evening as we celebrate six decades of advocacy, education, and service for mental health in our communities. This year’s theme—“Veterans: Changing the Narrative”—recognizes that veterans are not a statistic or a monolith, but unique individuals with diverse stories, strengths, and needs. Together, we will honor their resilience, service, and the importance of breaking stigma while expanding support.
Westmoreland County Director of Human Services, Robert Hamilton, MPPM will moderate a panel discussion with local veteran community leaders.
In addition, we are proud to present The Honorable Tim Krieger with the prestigious Fred Funari Award for Outstanding Service to the Mental Health Community. Judge Krieger has been the founding and presiding judge of the Westmoreland County Veterans' Treatment Court since 2019.
The Annual Dinner brings together community leaders, advocates, supporters, and friends to reflect on our shared progress and recommit to building a healthier, more compassionate region. We invite you to attend, participate, and support Mental Health America of Southwestern PA’s mission: to strengthen resilience and recovery through education, prevention, advocacy, and support.
Together, we will celebrate the 60 years of being A Voice for Mental Health and look ahead to the future we are building—one where dignity, respect, and mental wellness are within reach for all.
