Celebrate a century of light at the iconic Richard J. Riordan Central Library in Downtown Los Angeles with an immersive festival featuring more than 200 performers, artists, and storytellers. Night at the Library transforms the beloved historic Central Library into a vibrant, after-hours playground—celebrating 100 years of illumination, inspiration, and impact in spectacular style.

  1. What is your bag policy?

    Bags, backpacks, and other containers are prohibited from entering the venue, except as noted: Clear bags that are equal to or smaller than 12” x 6” x 12”; Small purses / wristlets that are 9” x 6”; Medical bags accompanied by the guest using them.

  2. What is your refund policy?

    All tickets are non-refundable. Thank you for supporting the Los Angeles Public Library.

  3. Where should I park?

    We suggest the Westlawn Garage, 524 S. Flower Street. Please note: we expect very heavy/slow traffic entering and exiting the parking garage. PARKING IS VERY LIMITED. A list of additional nearby parking options can be found here: lfla.org/parking-garage-options

  4. What is the latest time I may arrive to the event?

    Last entry for Night at the Library is at 10pm. Please enter at the Flower Street entrance. Please note: There is limited seating during the event and some of the activities take place in outdoor courtyards. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress accordingly.

  5. How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

  6. How much is parking?

    If you park at the Westlawn Garage, the fee is a flat rate of $10 for vehicles entering after 5:30pm. The parking lot is open 24/7.
