It’s hard to find a band with the Rock and Roll pedigree of “The Sound Minds.”Drummer Chris Sprague, who moved to Upstate New York from Los Angeles, drums for Los Straitjackets, renowned for their mastery of Twangy surf instrumentals and incognito Mexican wrestling masks, Los Straitjackets has also been the backing band for Nick Lowe for the past 10 years. Chris is a showman on the drums, with beats like flourishes and flash persona inspired by Gene Krupa to Mel Taylor of The Ventures. Chris has played drums with many legends such as Duane Eddy, James Burton, Nokie Edwards, etc.Bassist Ian “Ritz” Carlton thrills audiences around the Capitol Region of New York with his undeniable showman ship and Rockin’ bass that will vibrate your whole body.
