The Prabir Trio brings a fresh collision of Indian roots and American rock to the stage, blending Indian rāgas, catchy melodies, and lush harmonies into a sound that’s instantly memorable. Led by guitarist and singer Prabir Mehta—who moved from India to Richmond, Virginia as a child—his music is a colorful fusion inspired by The Beatles, Tom Petty, and the infectious energy of the classic FM radio vibes he listened to while growing up. The group features Prabir Mehta, Kelli Strawbridge on drums, Jeremy Flax on bass, and Kenneka Cook on harmonies.

FlyBoy takes flight for the first time with this debut performance!! Expect veterans from DC’s vibrant music scene, featuring Joe Dolan and John Stone of the Beatnik Flies, Mark Noone of the Slickee Boys, drummer Antoine Sanfuentes of too many bands to mention including Billy Hancock, and bassist Jim Crenca from Michael Reidy’s MWWW. Each player brings decades of energetic performances and deep ties to local rock history.

FOOD TRUCK:Weather permitting Rocklands BBQ food truck will be at the curb 6 - 8 pm dishing up delicious BBQ> Plenty of picnic tables outside for dining.

DRINK: BYOB makes this evening the MOST affordable in DC. You are welcome to bring your own libations. coolers etc. . In addition to Rockland's offerings, there will be beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks available at the Hub's concession stand.

TRANSPORTATION/PARKING: Easy free street parking. One block from MacArthur Blvd NW. Bus routes; D94 and C81 have stops one block away on MacArthur Blvd.
