What is Speed-Friending?

Speed-Friending is a fun, low-pressure event designed to help women make real, lasting friendships. You’ll rotate through short one-on-one conversations using light prompts, then enjoy open mingling time with everyone you’ve met.

Who is this event for?

Anyone looking to meet new friends, build community, or connect with women in a similar stage of life. No cliques, no established groups, just people showing up with the same intention: to make genuine connections.

Why Speed-Friending?

Making friends as an adult can be hard. Many suggestions involve joining a hobby, class, or group where people already know each other, or finding the time to commit to something new.

Speed-Friending offers an easier, more intentional alternative. You get structured conversations, shared prompts, and a room full of people who also want to meet someone new. It’s friendship without the awkwardness.

What happens when I arrive?

When you check in, you’ll receive:

• A nametag with a fun personal detail you selected during registration
• A Connection Scorecard to make notes after each conversation
• A ticket for your first drink (on us!)

Then you can grab a cocktail and get settled before rounds begin.

How do the rounds work?

• Conversations are 5–7 minutes each
• Each table has optional icebreakers to keep things easy and fun
• After each chat, you’ll privately mark your scorecard with one question in mind:
• “Would I grab a cocktail with her?” → Yes / Maybe / Not My Match
• There’s no pressure; just jot down your honest, friendly impressions

After the rounds, you’ll have open time to mingle and continue any conversations you enjoyed.

What happens after the event?

We collects all scorecards and looks for mutual matches. Within a day or two, you’ll receive an email with your matches so you can reconnect on your own.

You’ll also get an invite to the next Speed-Friending night and hear about any upcoming events you might love.

What’s the schedule?

• 6:30–6:45 PM: Check-in & first drink
• 6:45–7:45 PM: Speed-friending rounds
• 7:45–8:30 PM: Open mingling

What should I bring?

Just yourself — and maybe a phone to exchange socials with matches you meet during open mingling. Everything else (scorecards, prompts, pens, drink ticket) is provided.

Is this like dating?

Nope! This is not a dating event. It’s all about building friendships, finding community, and connecting with women who want the same thing.
