Summer Solstice Special Event: Suryanamaskar with Mantra

This special event is perfect for those who want to enrich their asana practice with the depth of mantra, or for mantra practitioners seeking a physical expression of their devotion.

Join us for a journey into the heart of one of yoga’s most iconic sequences—Suryanamaskar (Sun Salutation)—infused with the associated mantra.

In this immersive workshop, we’ll explore Suryanamaskar a spiritual ritual, syncing breath, body, and sound in a harmonious flow. You’ll learn the meaning and pronunciation of the 12 Sun Mantras (Aditya Mantras), each one invoking a different quality of the sun (such as light, vitality, courage, truth & clarity).

Through guided practice, we’ll:

• Discover what a mantra is, and why it matters

• Learn the 12 mantras associated with the sun

• Practice each posture of Suryanamaskar with awareness and alignment

• Integrate mantra, breath, and movement into a flowing, meditative sequence

• Close with a mantra-based meditation for deep inner stillness
