Anika Ignozzi

Anika Ignozzi is the founder and creative force behind Ooh Baby, a vibrant fashion brand established in 2018. Originally from a small town near Pittsburgh, Anika moved to New York to pursue her passion for art and fashion. She began by upcycling her father's old shirts using a sewing machine gifted by a friend’s mother, leading to her first fashion show on her 20th birthday. The brand's name, Ooh Baby!, quickly gained attention for its bold, expressive designs. After several years in Pittsburgh, Anika relocated to New York, opening a storefront in the West Village with support from Art To Ware and Chashama's storefront startup program. In early 2023, she expanded operations to a studio in Brooklyn, focusing on upcycling and creating expressive, sustainable clothing. The studio, located at 13 Grattan Street, Brooklyn, NY 11206, serves as the brand's headquarters, where all designs, upcycling, and painting take place. Ooh Baby is known for its colorful, playful designs that blend streetwear with artistic expression, aiming to make people feel confident and unique.
