The capoeira community as Professor Malandro, is the head instructor who guides Capoeira ATL. Under his leadership, the school teaches the traditions of Capoeira Regional, preserving the legacy of Mestre Bimba through the line of Mestre Nenel. Prof. Malandro emphasizes more than just the physical art: students also learn the musical, historical, and cultural roots of Afro-Brazilian capoeira—songs, rhythms, instruments, rituals, and the lineage that traces back to Bahia, Brazil. His approach is inclusive, empowering people of all ages, genders, and experience levels, to build not only physical strength, flexibility, and endurance but also confidence, discipline, and a connection to the rich heritage of capoeira.
