Composers Now

Composers Now is a nonprofit arts organization that champions living composers by producing concerts, festivals, panel discussions, and collaborative events across New York City and beyond. Operating out of 3 Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn (home of Mark Morris Dance Center), they organize the annual “Composers Now Festival,” as well as their “Dialogues” series events that combine live performances with conversations between composers, performers, and audiences. Their mission is to amplify diverse compositional voices, support new works (including premieres), and foster a community where contemporary classical, experimental, jazz-influenced, and cross-disciplinary composers can present work and engage in dialogue with listeners.
