Forest City Brewery

Forest City Brewery is a neighborhood-scale microbrewery, beer hall, and beer garden that emphasizes handcrafted European-style brews and a warm, communal atmosphere. Their taproom features a rotating lineup of 7 to 8 beers on tap, often produced in small batches, with both traditional and creative brews (e.g. lighter ales, porters, seasonal specials). The space marries a sense of history — with reclaimed-wood interiors, vintage brewery memorabilia, and a timber-frame hall — with a relaxed, social vibe. Beyond beer, Forest City offers European-inspired food (including pretzels, pierogies, flatbreads, sausages, and sandwiches), and hosts regular live music, dance nights, trivia, and other community-oriented events. Guests can enjoy the 40-seat tasting room, the historic beer garden under mature trees, and larger event spaces — from an 80-seat outdoor garden to an indoor “Beer Hall / Waldorf Hall” for up to 100 people and a smaller “Clubhouse” for about 40 — making it a go-to place for casual drinks, group gatherings, private events, and social nights out.
