Jill Schock, Death Doula LA

Jill Schock is the founder and owner of Studio Death Doula LA (DDLA), established in 2016 and located at 944 Chung King Road, Los Angeles, CA 90012. As a native Angeleno with over a decade of experience in end-of-life care, Jill is a certified Clinical Chaplain, Spiritual Counselor, and Ordained Minister. She holds a Master’s Degree in Ethics and Theology from Vanderbilt University Divinity School. Identifying as “spiritual but not religious,” Jill advocates for early and authentic conversations about death, empowering individuals to make informed choices about their end-of-life preferences. Her services encompass pre-planning, education, support throughout the dying process, and after-death rituals and home celebrations. Jill is also a member of the National Home Funeral Alliance and serves on the Advisory Board of End Of Life Choices California. Her work has been featured in The Los Angeles Times, NPR, Parade, Wired, Goop, and more.
