Mid Hudson Intergroup

Mid Hudson Intergroup (MHIG) is a regional service body affiliated with Overeaters Anonymous (OA) that supports members and groups in the Mid-Hudson area of New York. MHIG’s mission is to extend the hand and heart of OA to those struggling with compulsive eating by providing coordination, resources, and recovery support for meetings across Greene, Columbia, Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, and Orange counties. They maintain a 24-hour meeting information line, publish a newsletter, coordinate meeting lists, sponsor workshops and special marathon events, and offer service opportunities for members. MHIG also responds to inquiries about OA and provides information to healthcare professionals, visitors, and members seeking support in recovery from compulsive eating.
