Ortlieb's Lounge

Ortlieb’s Lounge is a historic live music venue and bar in Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties district. It sits in a building that was once part of the old Ortlieb brewery complex, and today merges music, bar culture, and community in an intimate setting. The venue hosts a variety of performances—jazz, indie, folk, singer-songwriter nights, open mic events—and features a casual bar menu including its signature “pickle dog.” Over time, it has evolved from its JazzHaus legacy into a dynamic space for local and touring artists, while preserving its nostalgic, classic atmosphere.
