SEIU AFRAM Local 99 is the African‐American workers’ caucus within the union dedicated to advancing racial and economic justice for Black members in the workplace. Under Chair Tonia McMillian’s leadership, the group organizes mentoring programs, educational events, open‐mic gatherings, advocacy campaigns, and Juneteenth celebrations aimed at uplifting Black labor and fostering leadership. Their efforts focus on grassroots organizing, community service, and strengthening the union through equity and voice for workers of African descent.
