Two Dragons Martial Arts (TDMA) Studio: Proudly serving the Altadena and Pasadena communities for over 30 years, Two Dragons Martial Arts Studio is a cornerstone of personal and community growth. Founded in 1995 by the late Si Tai Gung Steve Hearring and Sipoo Shelene Hearring, TDMA embodies a legacy of excellence, discipline, and mutual respect. Recognized in Best of Pasadena for 10 consecutive years and a recipient of the LA County 5th District John Anson Ford Human Relations Award, TDMA has cultivated a diverse, inclusive environment that empowers students of all ages and backgrounds to develop life skills through martial arts. Under the leadership of Sipoo Shelene Hearring, a Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee, TDMA continues its mission to train students to exceed excellence. Sipoo Shelene’s dedication honors the legacy of her late husband, Si Tai Gung Steve Hearring, a Kenpo Hall of Famer and developer of Chaun Shu—a system blending Chinese Kenpo, Northern Sil Lum Kung Fu, and Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan.
